3003 Aluminium Honeycomb

Aluminium honeycomb is ideal for a wide variety of industrial applications, as well as lightweight and energy-absorbing structures for transportation. It is available in cell sizes ranging from 3 mm to 25 mm, and in foil gauges from 40 µm to 110 µ.m

5052 & 5056 Aluminium Honeycomb

We supply aluminium honeycomb in both 5052 and 5056 grade aluminium for the mechanical performance demanded by aerospace and other high technology applications. It is available in cell sizes ranging from 3 mm to 12 mm, and in foil gauges from 20 µm to 80 µ.m

To enhance the durability of honeycomb after expansion it is recommended that protective coatings are applied using our dip tank process. This will allow the material to last in extreme environments without damage.

Corrugated Honeycombs

Corrugated honeycomb is ideal for edge reinforcements and fastener inserts in honeycomb structures. This material also offers excellent energy absorption. It is available in densities up to 850kg/m3
